February student visit day was a success

 

Fifteen students joined us on Saturday, February 15, 2020 for a future student visit day. This event, in conjunction with Les Cheneaux Islands’ annual Snowsfest, gave students the opportunity to tour the facility, meet staff, learn about our programs, explore the Les Cheneaux Islands, find out about financial assistance, and do some hands-on activities. There were various hands-on activities that reflected components of both of our post-secondary 12-month programs: Comprehensive Career Boat Building and Marine Service Technology.
