American Boat & Yacht Council Member (ABYC)

Great Lakes Boat Building School (GLBBS) has teamed up with The American Boat & Yacht Council ABYC) to offer ABYC Certification Classes in Marine Systems, Diesel Engines, Gas Engines and Marine Electrical. Classes are offered on the GLBBS campus in Cedarville, Michigan. GLBBS is affiliated with ABYC as a Marine League School.

ABYC is a non-profit, member organization that develops voluntary global safety standards for the design, construction, maintenance, and repair of recreational boats.

ABYC also has a long-established commitment to providing technical education, training, certification and professional development. Seminars, workshops and technician certification courses are instrumental in increasing the level of knowledge and professionalism throughout the boating industry
