A simple but high quality cold molded hull.

PROJECT SCOPE

Ken Workinger designed this outboard skiff after the type of small craft many Great Lakes families owned for fishing or just “messing around on the water”. The boat features a cold molded hull showing its bright finished interior and a polyurethane painted exterior. The boat is easy to trailer and will accommodate an outboard motor of 15 to 25 HP.

This boat is a composite built version of Dad’s Ol’ Skiff which was featured in WoodenBoat magazine’s 2008 issue of Small Boats and stretched 2′ longer.

CONSTRUCTION

Strip planked hull covered by two layers of veneer that were vacuum-bagged in the school’s three-month Composite session.
